Is the Wide and Trodden favorable over the Narrow and Concealed? Though the first is familiar and well-traveled by many others, is it worth missing out on the exploratory journey offered by the latter? My current path looks like a large swath cut through the hills, dales, meadows, and groves. It ignores the world around it an gouges through unceasingly. I am standing at its beginning looking down its way. I see trails near me that spiral into themselves and lead straight off cliffs. I do not want those. But still there are others. Other paths set as though the earth they travel across was formed just for that path. Nature and these paths are so perfectly in unison. I want a path of harmony; a path that lilts and gambols. My fear is that where I trudge now will never change, but my hope is that it will evolve into the right path for me.
